Afternoon Pick-Up Reminders
If using the Murphy Street pick-up, parents need to park and walk across to collect your child from the gateway. When you are near the gateway, we ask your child to raise their hand, so the duty teacher can safely let them walk to you.
Drive-through at the front of the school works much more efficiently if you have your surname displayed in the windscreen.
Drink Bottles
Please ensure your child/children have a drink bottle each day. Please help us be more sustainable.
Depending on the class group, children may have their water bottle in a tub, their bag or on their desk. Either way, we encourage children to drink at any time during the day and we regularly remind them to do so.
Compass Notifications
Please refer to Compass for the following notifications:
- Sacred Heart Christmas Concert Night and Farewell
- St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal
- End-of-Year checklist
Colour Fun Run
We wish to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in our major fundraiser for 2023. We had staff, parents and grandparents who supported us in many different ways - donating prizes, approaching businesses for support, setting up the powder and course, helping supervise on the day, cleaning up at the end and assisting with the prize draw. We could not run big events without your help.
Most excitedly we raised $11,900. We look forward to ordering the new fencing along the kinder courtyard and purchasing classroom equipment for our maths daily review lessons. Please pass on our thanks to all the people who sponsored your child to have fun. We had many very happy prize winners.
A huge shoutout to our generous community supporters this year.

On behalf of our community, I thank our generous supporters.

Community Council Open Meeting
We held a very successful open meeting last Thursday night. We continued our discussion of the school’s plans and initiatives in the areas of enrolment challenges, ‘Tell them from me’ parent and student survey feedback, and learning initiatives. We brainstormed which school communications are having the most success and endorsed the End-of-Year Calendar. We finished by welcoming our new principal, Mr David Austin and mixing & mingling with parents of children starting kinder in 2024.
A very successful night. We look forward to seeing even more parents and carers at our open meetings in 2024.
