TWILIGHT FAIR

8^th November 2024 from 3.30pm – 7.30pm

ONLY 9 WEEKS TO GO!!

We held another successful fair committee meeting on Tuesday night via MS Teams

Some of the things we discussed included:

• We really need more parent volunteers, especially stall co-ordinators, how do we engage families? Each parent that volunteers for an hour will get a raffle ticket for their child to win a whole day pass on the rides!
• What the raffle may look like, we have some prizes but need more
• What the stall co-ordinators job description looks like and how we can support them
• Working with the parish
• The current donations of stuff to sell is going well, people are generally donating quality items. Need more clothing racks!
• Our next push will be donation of goods to sell like cokes, waters etc
• How Playgroup is going to help / get involved
• How we are going to advertise the event
• We will borrow some eftpos “squares” to ensure we have enough digital transactions for each stall, but will also encourage people to bring cash
• Create a weekly or bi-weekly flyer for students to take home and let the families know what we are hoping to get donated, what our priorities are
• The entertainment is looking good, hoping to get some more!
• What the senior students will be doing
• Logistical things like a school map, wet weather contingency, show bags, equipment stocktake, finance, high school helpers, risk management plans, first aid, cool room hire, coffee van etc.
• Lots more was discussed, and our next meeting is Tuesday 24^th September (week 10)
