The Big Spring Fete

7 weeks until our BIG SPRING FETE
What can I do now?
- Donate pre-loved scarves, books, and toys (clean and in good working order). These can be dropped to the front office.
- Identify items to donate to the White Elephant Stall. These can be dropped off to school on Friday 13th September 2019 between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Come through the office or canteen doors to meet a helper in the Maker Space. Items need to be in clean working order. We are accepting household items, great quality clothing, toys, games and sporting equipment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept large items, any electrical items, mattresses or baby furniture.
- Get gardening and pot up some beauties for the Plant Stall.
- Why not put your talents on show by donating items to the Craft Stall. These can be dropped off to the office by Friday morning 20th September.
- Grab your choice of time on the helper rosters. We need helpers Wednesday 18th September and Friday 20th September in the afternoon and FETE day Saturday 21st September. We welcome parents, carers, grandparents, friends of the school and parish, and older siblings seeking volunteer hours to give an hour or a day! Visit our rosters online via the links below or see the rosters in the School Office.
- Talk to the teachers about typing stories for the children’s books.
- We have two dishes on the multicultural food stall. We would love another. Talk to Kerry Wode if you have something in mind.
Support our fete and Support our sponsors. Here is the start of the list….
The fete is our biggest fundraiser and a huge social event for our community. In 2019 the funds will be used towards the refit and covering of our internal courtyard into a quieter playground area and sensory play space
The raffle and pick-a-package prizes this year are unbelievable thanks to the fabulous businesses in our community who are sponsoring us.
Our dedicated fete committee have been working tirelessly for months. We appreciate their Excellence!
