Principal's News
Dear Parents and Carers,
This Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. The season of Advent marks the beginning of the Church’s Liturgical Year, and the main characteristics of the season are waiting, hope and renewal. Waiting for the coming of Jesus, hope in a faith-filled future and renewing our commitment to God, family, and friends. Advent is a time of preparation for Christmas, and however we choose to do this, no doubt it will be done in a spirit of thoughtfulness, love, and care with the certainty that God’s blessings will be given to us in abundance.
Grandfriends/Grandparents Day
We are excited to welcome our Grand friends and Grandparents to school tomorrow, for a special celebration in their honour.
8:50 am – Start at Morning Assembly
9:15 am – Whole School Mass (Church)
10:30 am – Classroom Visits (Grannies and visitors are warmly invited to see the students' learning spaces and visit classrooms)
11:00 am – Morning Tea for visitors (School Hall)
This is a great opportunity to celebrate the love, wisdom, and support that grandparents and grandfriends bring to our lives. Their influence is invaluable, and their presence in our school community enriches the lives of our students and staff alike.
Grandparents have a unique and irreplaceable role in the lives of young people – offering guidance, sharing stories of the past, and surrounding families with unconditional love. This day is a small token of appreciation for their big role in shaping our lives and community.
Dear Lord,
We thank You for the gift of grandparents and their place in our families.
Bless them with health, joy, and strength as they continue to be a source of love and wisdom.
May they feel our gratitude and respect for them in our hearts.
Help us to cherish their presence, learn from their experiences, and honour the lives they have lived.
May Your blessings surround them always.
Amen.
We look forward to celebrating this special morning with you. All most welcome!

Good luck!
We wish Aleiya (Year 4) all the best as she competes at the ACT Primary School’s Track and Field Championships in Sydney this weekend. Aleiya is currently the fastest 100m and 200m 10-year-old in the ACT! Go get ‘em, Aleiya!
Kinder Nativity
We are thrilled to invite you to the Kindergarten Nativity next Wednesday, 4 December, at 1:00 p.m. in the school hall.
Our Kindergarten students will retell the Christmas story, bringing the true meaning of Christmas to life through their performances. This special event is always a highlight of the school year, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of our youngest learners.
Thank you to Mrs. Jessica Pearson-Lee and Mrs. Caroline O'Mara for their dedication and hard work in preparing the students for this beautiful celebration.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
In faith and partnership,
