Swimming Carnival
What an amazing swimming carnival we had on Tuesday. The participation levels of students in all races were at their highest we've had in years. We are so proud of all those students who swam, especially those who went outside their comfort zone and competed in events they had not done before. We have a small group of students who have qualified for the South Weston Carnival (Friday 4th April, AIS) and information relating to this will be sent out via Compass this week.
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers who helped to make our carnival a success, without your commitment to our school, days like this would not be possible.
Athletics Carnival - Thursday 27th March
This week we will send out via Compass the information and consent for the Athletics carnival, it is a quick turn around from the swimming carnival. As always, parent support is needed for this day, we appreciate you giving up some of your time to support us in our event.
Free Oz Tag Clinics
We have been fortunate enough to receive free Oz Tag Clinics from ACT Oz Tag. These will be for the whole school for 2 weeks commencing on Tuesday 18th March and then Tuesday 25th March.
We know that the new changes to sports days will interrupt your weekly home schedule but we are wanting to make the most of providing sporting opportunities for your child through these clinics.
