At Sacred Heart We Value Excellence
This week, 1 Red have strived for excellence in collaborative learning. They were being respectful communicators, responsible self-managers and persistent thinkers when using BeeBots to learn about technology and positional language. Their collaboration and problem solving skills were really put to the test when they had to design their own run for the BeeBots using all the content knowledge and learning assets they have been concentrating on. Keep up the excellent work 1 Red.
On Wednesday night, Aquin R from 5/6 Navy competed at the Rostrum Speaking competition semi-final at Torrens Primary School. She performed her previous winning speech titled ‘The view from the top’. Aquin performed her speech to perfection and competed against 6 other students from schools in the area.
After some feedback from the judges, they announced that Aquin had won and she now has a place in the grand final to be held on Monday 2nd September.
Congratulations Aquin, you have represented our school proudly and we wish you luck in the grand final.
