Working Bee

How good at spatial puzzles are you?  Stage 2 children and the gardening club have been inquiring into how much sand is needed to fill the sandpits and how much hosing is needed for the irrigation of the vegie gardens. We’ve purchased 10 cubic metres of sand and 75 metres of hosing. Kerry is interested in how  many people it will take to get it all done between 3.30pm-5.00pm on Friday!

Wear your PJs to school on Monday 9th September 

The requests have been many! And so…..it is time to drag out your warmest PJ’s, cutest onesies, daggiest trackies and wear them to school. (Shoes needed for playground time) We are having a fun day at school to say thanks to all the children, and their families, for preparing for the fete. There will be a special Monday recess canteen deal on to add to the fun. Details to come. This is the day your tombola pots are due to be returned

Australian Girls Choir

We are fortunate to have tutors from the Australian Girls’ Choir visiting our school on Tuesday, August 27. The tutors will be running a short assessment workshop for any girls who are interested in joining the Choir. This will be a fun, positive and encouraging experience for everyone. If you would like your daughter to be involved, please sign and return the permission slip. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. I work Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We have a number of events coming up which we would like to remind you of and to seek your support for.

1) Notes due for South Weston Regional Track and Field.

2) Thursday 15 August - Feast of Assumption Mass 9.30am; Discos 6:00pm-7:00pm, Senior 7.15pm-8.30pm. Thanks to our volunteers helping on the night.

3) Friday 16 August - Kinder Red assembly 2.20pm; Working Bee 3.30pm-5pm. Helpers needed for irrigation system and sand moving. Bring shovels and wheelbarrows if you can; Notes returned for Father's Day.

4) Wednesday 21 August - Regional Track and Field carnival, details on notes; Be You Open meeting 6.30pm. Please RSVP to the office.

5) Friday 23 August - Book Week Character Parade 9.00am; 5/6N assembly 2.20pm.

Stage 2 Mass change of date

The Stage 2 Parish Mass scheduled for Friday Week 5, 23rd August has been rescheduled to Week 10, Friday 27th September due to the Book Week Parade.
