Last Thursday, all of Stage 2 made a successful round trip of Mt Taylor (including the Summit!) as part of our new Inquiry unit.  Our current question is 'How has the Earth's surface changed over time?' Father Richard proved himself to be very knowledgeable about paddock weeds, rocks, weathering and erosion.  A few fast facts:  the rocks on Mount Taylor are from the Silurian age 420 million years ago and are known as acid volcanic rocks!
