Hint: for a method for sending multiple samples of work back to your child’s teacher.
Families with an iPhone or iPad you actually have a scanner! If you are planning to scan any work to your teachers you can use the ‘Notes App’.
- Open a new note, press the camera button, the option to scan document will pop up.
- Once the document is scanned you can email it with less band width than a photo.
A message from the Learning Support and EALD Teams
Our teams are working closely with teachers to ensure that activities being planned for Remote Learning are supportive of students with known learning challenges. The adjustments will be individualised for your child as needed.
Please look at the materials in your child’s Remote Learning pack. Some adjustments and additional items may already be there. The team will be contacting families over the next few school days to check in with you, answer questions and respond to the learning needs you require further support with.
If you are needing support to access the communications we are sending out, please contact the front office. An example may be to send items in a different format, that might enable families to access Google Translate.
We are here to support your families at this time. Please let us know if you need help in any way.
UNSW ICAS Testing
The ICAS testing will be offered again this year. It will now be mostly online, including parent registration for the test sessions. Kerry Wode will call for registrations at the end of Term 2 for these optional enrichment tests. Families can choose to enrol their child in one or more of the Writing, Science, Digital Technologies, English, Maths and Spelling tests. The test period is during August.
