Virtual Character Parade

'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds' is the theme for Book Week 2021. While we stay at home, books can take us anywhere!

Here is a sneak peak of the cardboard roll Book Characters coming in for our Virtual Character Parade.

Counselling is still available through CE during lockdown. 

CECG’s school counselling service providers have adapted their delivery to be available via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. This is an important resource that is available, not only for students, but also for parents and caregivers during remote learning and lockdown. The counselling service has undertaken a more proactive wellbeing case management approach to include wellbeing check-ins. Due to this change in approach and the move to a telehealth platform, a new Informed Consent will be required. All CECG school counsellors are now using updated forms for this purpose.

Prayer and Reflection Resources

These prayer and reflection resources are for all families to find comfort, connection to faith and reassurance in these unsettling times. We encourage our school community to set aside time for personal and family prayer.

Library, Italian, Music and STEAM

Our specialist subject teachers have created a new google classroom for each class for students to access activities to keep students learning in Library, Italian, Music and STEAM. We ask parents to help your child join this new classroom.

2. Select the +  to ‘add or join class’ at the top right of screen
3. Choose ‘Join class’
4. Type in the class code found below
5. See the work in the ‘stream’ or ‘classwork’ tabs 

New activities will be posted to this classroom on a Monday. This week has tasks from Mrs Borgia for library and book week, and from Mrs Lustri  for Italian. we have noticed many students have yet to join. Please pass the code to your child.

YMCA 2021 Spring Vacation Care

We are happy to announce that the YMCA will be running a school holiday program in September.
