REMINDERS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Friday 3rd September. Wear your favourite jersey or sporting clothes, have some fun and start a conversation about organ donation.

Jersey Day was inspired by the gift of life that Nathan Gremmo gave to six people when he became an organ donor at age 13. Has your family considered registering for organ donation? If you visit their website you can register to Donate Life and you can win money for a nominated charity or sporting club with their trickshot competition. https://www.jerseyday.com.au/

Thursday 9th September is ‘R U Ok? Day’. Wear yellow or a bright colour to our MS TEAMS meeting.

It is a great reminder to check in with family or school friends whom you have not caught up with since going into lockdown. Teachers are planning a little something with classes that that day. Learn more about the initiative at https://www.ruok.org.au/

Staff team A left this welcome for Staff Team B. A very nice thought. Staff Team B are now getting creative in return. Stay tuned!

We would love to hear about what you are doing to support your household, family and friends during this time.

Please email through a short comment or photo for next week’s newsletter.

We have a wonderful community. Please reach out if our school and community can support your family.

Counselling is still available through CE during lockdown
CECG’s school counselling service providers have adapted their delivery to be available via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. This is an important resource that is available, not only for students, but also for parents and caregivers during remote learning and lockdown. The counselling service has undertaken a more proactive wellbeing case management approach to include wellbeing check-ins. Due to this change in approach and the move to a telehealth platform, a new Informed Consent will be required. All CECG school counsellors are now using updated forms for this purpose.
For further information, please refer to the following flyers, or contact the school office.
