Offering vacation care is important to our community. The future offerings of our YMCA VAC program will depend on the utilisation of these services over the upcoming summer period. Due to this we are hoping that parents can get the word out regarding this service, to as many people as possible! Please pass on the booking link and the pdf of this year’s schedule to friends who are looking for vacation care during January.

On Friday 26th November, Sacred Heart will have a Crazy Sock Day. Students may wear any coloured socks, odd socks or sporting socks with their school uniform. For this special day, we kindly ask students to bring a gold coin donation. The money will be collected by our Faith Leaders and the Stage 3 students and teachers will use the donated money to purchase games and toys for the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. We look forward to seeing all the silly socks and thank you for supporting St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal.coins.png

Every year the Sacred Heart community supports the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal with donations of food for Christmas Hampers. This year we want to continue to play an important part in renewing hope for the thousands of people who face an uncertain Christmas. Together, we can continue to bring smiles of love and joy to the people who need it most this season.
The appeal collection will run from Thursday 11th November (Week 6) through to Friday 3rd  December (Week 9).  Donations will be collected in classrooms.

The Stages have been allocated the following items:

WALKING_TOGETHER.jpg

Walking Together is an online Advent resource from our local Archdiocese, designed to help parents, carers and grandparents prepare reflectively for Christmas. It will be available in 4 instalments – one each week - of a 10 minute video and downloadable discussion questions.  Use it whenever suits you, to reflect alone or with your family, or join an in-person or online group to discuss the contents with others. All information available at www.cgcatholic.org.au/ADVENT

The Archdiocese will also be hosting weekly zoom Advent discussion groups on Sunday afternoons at 4pm (starting Sunday 28th) and on Tuesday mornings at 10am (starting Tuesday 30th) which anyone can join.

If you would like to host a face to face or zoom Advent group for your own community using the Archdiocesan resource, the logon details for this Sunday’s 4pm zoom briefing are:
