3rd Sunday of Advent
This weekend we light the third candle on the Advent Wreath. It is called the “Shepard’s Candle,” and is pink because rose is a liturgical colour for joy. It is meant to remind us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus, as well as the joy that the faithful have reached at the midpoint of Advent.
Rejoice in the Lord always;
and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to everyone.
The Lord is near
Year 6 2021 Graduation
Today we celebrate the Year 6 class of 2021 at the Graduation Mass and dinner. The students passed on the role of leadership to the class of 2022 through the candle ceremony. Thank you to the Staff who prepared the Mass Ceremony and students.
Kindergarten Nativity
Yesterday Kindergarten retold the story of the Nativity through dance and song. We thank Mrs Peake for yet again preparing a beautiful performance.
Preparation for the End of Year
As we begin to send items home for the end of the year please send in an extra bag to help your child/ren to carry their precious creations home.
We understand that there may be a number of families who decide to finish before the end of the term. Please let your child’s teacher know with an email.
Take care and keep safe
