Father's Day

Last Friday we had many of our fathers, families and special friends attend the Father's Day Open Classroom morning. It was nice to have families in the school for this special occasion.

Playgroup

The princesses at Thursday playgroup enjoyed our new dress ups. Thank you Mrs McNicol for donating the wonderful dress ups.

Playgroup enjoyed the sunshine with a game of soccer and also participated in dance with some of the Year 4 students.

Sport Lessons

Amazing sport lessons at SHPS today.
Stage 1 are finishing their tennis clinics.
Stage 2 are learning the fine art of lawn bowls.
Stage 3 are beginning their investigation into playing lacrosse.
Sacred Heart students have so many opportunities to learn a variety of different sports!

Aboriginal History and Perspectives

Kinder and Stage 1 welcomed Katrina Cambridge, the Catholic Education Aboriginal School and Community Officer to Sacred Heart. She spoke to the students about Aboriginal history and perspectives and answered many wonderings from the students. Thank you Katrina for your insightful presentation.
