This Sunday is the Fourth Week of Lent

This week the readings speak of Christ as our guide, our shepherd and our light. He is the one who leads and nurtures us and who heals the darkness of our lives.

God of Love,

Open my eyes to see with the eyes of love.

Help me to follow you wholeheartedly.

Send your compassionate spirit to those who are affected by the darkness and violence of others.

I know that you know me in the deepest parts of my spirit. Send your healing light to shine in these parts of my life (pause and name anything that may need to be healed).

I have faith that you will always be with me.

Be my shepherd and my guide in the joys and in the dark times.

I make this prayer through Jesus the Light of the World.

Congratulations to the new Mrs Meg Baldry.

We congratulate Meg and Teague on their wedding last Saturday. On behalf of our Sacred Heart community, we share this blessing for your life together.
