Roadside Corflutes for our Enrolment Period

We are looking for a couple of volunteers to put out some of our ‘Enrolling Now’ corflutes. This entails choosing an appropriate place, hammering them in, monitoring them and bringing them back in a few weeks later. Please contact Kerry Wode if you are the person for the job.

School Holiday Workshops for Gifted and Talented Students

Brainways Education and the Australian Catholic University are offering workshops at Watson on April 15-16 for very able students in Years 2-4 & 5-8. Half day sessions cost $54 per child.

Please email Kerry Wode for the information if your child would be interested in attending. You will need a nomination letter from Kerry and to personally register to lock in your place.

Topics this time include:

Yr2-4: Honeycomb Mathematics, Science of spinning tops, Chocoholics through history, Is life a video game?

Yr5-8: Mathematics of wilderness survival, medicine of exhaustion, exploring the nature of reality, psychology of a sweet tooth.
