Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to Term 4 2022. It has been wonderful to have a rain free beginning and enjoy the beautiful spring sunshine. Once again it has been lovely to hear the numerous stories from excited little people.
COVID restrictions have receded
From the beginning of next week normal activity resumes at school. This means parents, carers and visitors will be able to join us for school events and activities. We are very excited to have you with us for assemblies and gatherings.
There is no longer any requirement for a person to quarantine if positive to COVID-19. Anyone who is unwell should not attend school.
More information will be sent out through COMPASS.
Staff adjustments
Mrs Christina Hill will be taking Kindergarten and Stage 2 for library each Wednesday this term.
Mrs Jan Simpson will be taking Kindergarten, Year 1 and 2 for Dance in weeks 1 to 7 of Term 4.
We welcome Mrs Tracy Kane back in the canteen and clothing pool.
Mrs Shari Cooper will remain on leave during Term 4. Mrs Lisa Davis and Mrs Tash Barrenger will continue to manage the Office during this time.
Take care and keep safe
NAPLAN 2023 - save the date
NAPLAN will be held much earlier in 2023 than in other years. Children in Years 3 and 5 will participate in the NAPLAN tests between Wednesday 15 March to Monday 27 March.
COMPASS
The COMPASS App and Website is our main platform for communication to parents and carers. We encourage all parents and carers in the family to be logged into COMPASS. If you have not logged in via the app or your browser with your provided username and password, we ask that you attend to this immediately.
This term we will be trialling using COMPASS for excursion information and permissions. This means that we will not be issuing paper copies for most permission slips. We are already using COMPASS for absence notes, newsletters, daily notices and emailing teachers. You will require COMPASS to access your child/rens school reports.(Any online payments for activities must be made through Qkr!)
Please contact Lisa or Tash in the office if you need support using COMPASS.
Yours faithfully,

October is nominated by the Church as the month of the Holy Rosary. The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary as the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary falls on October 7th. At this time, especially, we are encouraged to seek Mary’s guidance and inspiration.
The Rosary is a beautiful prayer and we encourage all families to pray the Rosary together.
“I invite everyone to rediscover, especially during this month of October, the beauty of the prayer of the rosary, which has nourished the faith of the Christian people through the centuries.”
