Kinder Nativity Change to Start time
The Kinder Nativity on the 6th December 2019 in the Hall, the start time has been changed to 12.30pm.
As we enter the season of Advent we are reminded of our main purpose in life - to be ready. In this weekend's readings Jesus is asking us to live in the present, so that we can recognise the Lord when he appears in our lives.
Staying awake means noticing and being alert. Jesus is reminding us that even while we are busy, especially for us at this time of year, to take the time to maintain a friendship with God, be present and take time to pray.

Our students participated in an interactive presentation delivered by experienced lifesavers last week.
The aim of the program was to improve the beach safety, knowledge and awareness among primary school students. When visiting the coast over the summer the students can pass the learnt knowlege and awareness with their families.

Help Needed Bushfire Wildlife Rescue Appeal
URGENT HELP NEEDED
BUSHFIRE WILDLIFE RESCUE APPEAL
As we know, the destruction from the bushfires has left many families without homes and animals with no habitats. Our beautiful animals are dying or are left severely injured.
Injured wildlife includes koalas, birds, bats, possums, kangaroos and joeys.
These animals need our help. As a school community we can make a big difference by each doing something simple. As kids watching the news we think there is nothing we can do to help.
This is not true!
What can I do to help?
Sacred Heart is running a Bushfire Rescue Appeal. Items required to assist with this appeal can be purchased at your local supermarket or might even be unused in your home.
What is needed?
Paw paw ointment
Vitamin E cream (pure)
Sorbolene cream
Baby wipes
Also needed:
Sheets- flannelette or cotton washed
Pillow cases washed
Fabric- 100% cotton or flannel
Wool or crochet yarn
Anything you would be able to donate will be collected and sent to the animals in need next Friday 6th December.
We thank the generous Sacred Heart community for their support of our student lead initiative.
