Updated Information -New Sign in/out System
As of the beginning of Term Two we have moved to a new procedure for signing in/out your child/children if they are late arriving or leaving early. This will now be done electronically by the front office staff.
Please Note:
- Parents and Carers need to come to the Front Office to sign in children that are late.
- Absent notes can be done on SZapp or emailed through to the Front Office and the teacher can be CC'd in if you wish.
Recess Eating – Check-in
We have noticed that several children in Kindergarten to Year 2 do not have sufficient food for the recess break (2.10pm). Could you please discuss recess eating time with your child/ren to ensure they have a clear understanding of how they could organise their food.
Pick-up & Safety
If your child is not using a designated after school supervised exit from school could please send an email to the classroom teacher so that we can support the arrangements for your child/ren.
CONFIRMATION
Our children receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation soon participated in a preparation retreat today. Could you please keep these children and their families in your prayers.

Positive Partnerships
Australian Early Development Census
Congratulations to Logan W on receiving the Platinum King Award.
This award signifies 40 chess merit awards this year and recognises his problem solving skills, clever tactics and excellent behaviour. Logan participates in Thursday lunch Chess Club coordinated by Sydney Academy of Chess.
Mothers Day
Last Friday we welcomed our Mothers and significant people to join us in a special assembly and into the classrooms so the children could share their learning.
Playgroup
This week Playgroup enjoyed buying their snack from the Wonderful Mrs Kane in the Canteen, making a shopping list, sorting money and spray painting.
Cooking With Mrs Kane
Last week 5/6 Red spent some time with Mrs Kane learning to cook pikelets.
Book Buddies
Last week we started 'Book Buddies' with the whole school involved. The children meet their buddies at 3-3.10pm every Monday for the rest of this term. The children seem to be enjoying this time together, reading and listening to a story, focusing not only on the fluency but also comprehension skills. This is also a time to show respect, encourage friendships and a love of reading.
5/6 White Science
The students were inquiring into how static electricity works and collaborating to create electrical circuits. Lots of fun and interactive science in 5/6 White.
Congratulations to the following students celebrating their birthday this week
Destiny N, Logan W, Isabel U, Thomas K.
Assembly this Friday at 2.20pm in the school hall. Parents of award recipients are welcome to attend.
